Description:

The ISACA Transforming IT Audit Working Group will advise the ISACA product team on technology and trends impacting the IT audit domain. This team will:

  • discuss how emerging or burgeoning technologies will impact the IT audit profession
  • identify gaps in the market for new knowledge/content articles that expound on the new technologies
  • author or source articles and other content to be featured on the Transforming IT Audit website to address new technologies and any gaps that have been identified

Anticipated outcomes: The Working Group will identify and author articles and other content to be featured on ISACA’s Transforming IT Audit website. Articles will be focused on the future of IT audit, including topics related to emerging technologies and their impact on the IT audit field, as well as IT audit workforce development issues.

The group will meet approximately quarterly via Skype and work over email between meetings. Volunteers authoring new content for the website will be required to sign an author agreement for each article, etc.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Understanding of IT audit and sources of knowledge currently availble for audit professionals.
  • Knowledge of ISACA audit frameworks, products, certifications and services.
  • Geographic area representation required.
  • Commitment to becoming an ISACA volunteer and giving back to the professions ISACA serves.
  • Ability to connect to quarterly virtual meetings by Skype

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession at the end of the term.
