Description:

ISACA is seeking volunteers to participate in online focus groups with other IT audit professionals to discuss professional development and training needs related to Artificial Intelligence.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • The primary goal of this focus group is to gain insights into the motivations and needs of IT audit professionals concerning AI training.
  • The discussion will cover various aspects, including the preferred delivery methods, expectations from ISACA, concerns related to AI in their job, motivations for AI training, obstacles to training uptake, and their criteria for "best in class" professional development.
  • Each focus group will have between 2-6 participants and will be facilitated by ISACA staff.
  • Discussions will be conducted and facilitated in English.
  • Focus group discussions will last approximately 1 hour.
  • Selected volunteers must have a video camera and turn it on for the duration of the discussion.
  • Group discussions will be recorded for internal use only.
  • Activities are scheduled to take place March 26-28 between 11 am – 7 pm US Central Time. 

Space is limited. Not all applications will be approved based on needed volunteer composition. 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • ISACA membership required.
  • Must be actively working (not retired) in IT Audit.
  • All experience levels (novice to senior) required.
  • No certifications required.
  • Must have access to a video camera and agree to keep it turned on for the duration of the discussion.
  • Ability to communicate in English to participate in the discussion.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 1 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
  • Contribute to the creation/advancement of best in class ISACA training resources related to AI and audit professional jobs.
