Description:

Volunteers are needed to create a content calendar of relevant discussion topics for the SheLeadsTech Community on Engage.

Anticipated Outcomes:

The SheLeadsTech community on Engage provides a space for users to share stories, swap ideas, discuss the complex topic of advancing women in the workforce, and more. Volunteers for this opportunity will:

  • Work collaboratively to populate a discussion topic content calendar for the rest of 2024 and 2025.
  • Attend an orientation kick-off call on Tuesday, 14 May (time TBD).
  • Between 14 May and 21 May, submit 10 discussion topic prompts for consideration via an online submission platform (with awareness of duplication).
  • Between 22 May and 29 May, provide feedback and suggestions for each other’s submissions.
  • Use their relevant industry knowledge to align proposed discussion topics with key times of the year (ex. March is Women’s Month, October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month).
  • Commit to consistent activity in the SheLeadsTech community, and work to socialize and create engagement around proposed discussion topics. 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Knowledge of and interest in supporting SheLeadsTech mission and vision.
  • Member of the Engage SheLeadsTech community.
  • Interest in elevating and advancing important professional conversations about advancing women in the workforce.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and suggestions for submissions.
  • ISACA membership preferred but not required.
  • Previous knowledge supporting or participating in online forums a plus.
  • Ability to communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Stable internet access to access the virtual workspace.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the SheLeadsTech program mission and important industry conversations.
