Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of an audit program on Blockchain. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the audit program’s content as well as assessment of whether the audit program’s controls and test steps are aligned with ISACA’s Blockchain Framework and current best practices.

Anticipated outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of a blockchain audit program by reviewing a draft audit program for:

  • Technical accuracy; and
  • Alignment with ISACA’s Blockchain Framework and current best practices

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by April 5, 2021. Volunteers will have a little over a week to complete their reviews and to provide feedback to ISACA. The timeline may be modified depending on ISACA’s production schedule.

Volunteer Criteria (preferred):

  • Current knowledge of and experience implementing, auditing or working with blockchain.
  • Experience conducting audits or performing assessments of frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ISACA’s blockchain framework preferred.
  • CISA certification preferred.
  • Geographic area representation preferred.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
