Description:

The CRISC Review Manual Subject Matter Expert Reviewers will review a chapter of the current CRISC Review Manual and provide feedback to enhance the product. 

 

Anticipated outcomes:  

The CRISC Review Manual Subject Matter Expert Reviewers will be tasked with reviewing a chapter of the current CRISC Review Manual for the following: 

  • Accuracy
  • Relevancy 
  • Completeness
  • Clarity
  • Depth 

Reviewers will be asked to submit their comments and suggestions using ISACA’s feedback form. A stable Internet connection and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required to participate in the review. 

 

Volunteer Criteria: 

  • Current CRISC certification
  • Fluency in English (written, verbal skills)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in performing the tasks of a CRISC or a related field
  • Knowledge of the required roles, responsibilities, and knowledge base related to IT risk management
  • Secure and stable internet connection and Adobe Acrobat Reader (required)
  • May not have serviced on any of the following certification volunteer activities within the last 3 years:
    • CRISC Certification Working Group
    • CRISC Exam Item Development Working Group 

          Preferred: 

  • Training and education experience
  • Geographic area distribution
  • Industry distribution 

 Volunteer benefits:   

  • Earn 20 CPE in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term
