Description:

The ISACA Now Blog features a wide range of contributors examining a variety of topics of interest to our global professional community. In particular, we are seeking contributors to write blogs through the lens of key SheLeadsTech program topics.

Anticipated Outcomes/Guidelines:

Approved volunteers will work with ISACA’s communications team to write and refine an article for the ISACA Now blog, with a focus on topics and matters that are relevant to SheLeadsTech (i.e. programs supporting diversity in the workforce, stories about the advancement of women, etc.)

  • Content must be original and may not have been previously published elsewhere. Content should be thought leadership (non-promotional) and relevant to ISACA's professional community.
  • Blog posts are typically 500-1,000 words in length.
  • Must include hyperlinks to any sources referenced within your post (do not include footnotes or endnotes).
  • Connecting your blog to a prominent recent story in the news cycle or an upcoming event can be a great way to make your post more relevant.
  • Once published, blog authors are encouraged to post the link with thoughtful discussion questions in the appropriate online community(ies) in Engage to increase visibility and continue the conversation with the membership.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Familiar with, and supporter of, the mission and vision of ISACA’s SheLeadsTech program.
  • Able to write blog and receive feedback for revisions in English.
  • ISACA membership not required.
  • Gain exposure for your professional expertise on a global platform.
  • Contributors must sign and return the blog author agreement prior to being published.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 4 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
  • Gain exposure for your professional expertise on a global platform.
  • Help advance ISACA's thought leadership by contributing to the ISACA Now Blog as well as by sharing to your professional networks.
