Description:

ISACA seeks to provide input on draft guidelines from the European Data Protection Board on examples regarding Data Breach Notification. Learn more about the proposed guidelines here.

Applications will be reviewed within a few days of submission, and qualified volunteers will be appointed to begin their review immediately. Disregard the term start date above as it may vary by applicant; all responses are due to ISACA by 22 February 2021.

Anticipated outcomes:

  • Selected volunteers will review the provided cases from the draft guidelines and provide comments to the ISACA Public Affairs department for inclusion in the final response.
  • Through the influence of ISACA subject matter experts, GDPR regulations may be more relevant and applicable across a variety of industries and use-cases.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • EU resident
  • ISACA Membership not required.
  • Experience working with GDPR.
  • Knowledge of the initial guidelines on personal data breach notification under GDPR.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the feedback by 22 February.
