Description:

This group of volunteers will participate in the CMMI Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group to curate industry best practices to influence updates to the CMMI Model content around AI, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and Advanced Manufacturing and related content such as AI-Augmented Software (or Systems or Hardware) Development, using AI in testing and DevSecOps, threat and vulnerability monitoring and analysis and more. 

Anticipated Outcomes:

Volunteers will actively participate as team members of the CMMI AI Working Group. It is expected that volunteers will attend, actively participate, e.g., support AI content development, prepare for scheduled meetings, e.g., review read-aheads, and complete actions to contribute to the work of the working group.  

The goals of the CMMI AI Working Group are:

  • Provide ISACA with industry Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in the area of Artificial Intelligence and related practices, e.g., Advanced Manufacturing
  • Analyze AI industry information and provide key inputs into the design of the additional AI content
  • Contribute to content development and reviews
  • Provide input to CMMI adoption relevant to AI content
  • Content updates will include topics such as AI, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and Advanced Manufacturing and related content such as AI-Augmented Software (or Systems or Hardware) Development, using AI in testing and DevSecOps, threat and vulnerability monitoring and analysis and more.
  • The group is being formed and will be active through 2024. In 2025, active participating members will be asked to renew their service for a 2025 term. This should be a consideration when applying for 2024. 

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Must demonstrate active CMMI adoption experience, e.g., Certified CMMI Professional
  • Preference given to Certified CMMI Instructor or CMMI Lead Appraiser with experience across multiple CMMI domains
  • Training and experience with AI, e.g., Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, and Advanced Manufacturing and related content such as AI-Augmented Software (or Systems or Hardware) Development, using AI in testing and DevSecOps, threat and vulnerability monitoring and analysis.
  • Must be in good standing with ISACA – no quality or financial issues
  • Geographic area considered for diversity
  • ISACA membership not required
  • The group is being formed and will be active through 2024. In 2025, active participating members will be asked to renew their service for a 2025 term. This should be a consideration when applying for 2024.

Volunteer Benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of the term.
  • CMMI Opportunities: CPEs for CMMI certifications are tracked internally through the process detailed in the CMMI Certification – Partner Sponsored Renewal Policy. CMMI certified individuals may earn up to 20 CPEs (max. 50 during your current certification period) toward Category II - Continuing Education & Community Support per Appendix B of the Renewal Policy. Please maintain a log of the CPEs earned for your own records.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the CMMI Model to incorporate key emerging technologies.
