2023 Cybersecurity Role Research Interviews

Description:

ISACA is looking to analyze the role of cybersecurity professionals. Volunteers will be subject matter experts who are in the cybersecurity field that can share real-world experiences and insights into the field. 1:1 Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams with ISACA staff. The interviews last approximately one hour, and all information remains confidential. 

*Disregard the listed start date. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis as applications are accepted, between now and 28 April. 

Not everyone who applies will be selected. Applications may close early based on response.

Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Volunteers will be asked to share their experiences in the Cybersecurity world.
  • Volunteers will help outline gaps in the cybersecurity field.
  • Results will help shape future products developed by ISACA.


Volunteer Criteria:

  • A variety of representatives from various career and experience levels:
    • CEO/CTO/CIO
    • Director
    • Manager
    • Business Leader
    • Individual Contributor
  • Global representation of participants preferred
  • Fluency in English for the interview
  • ISACA membership or certifications not required
  • Availability between 8am-5pm Central Time for the interview
  • Stable internet connection to conduct interview via Microsoft Teams

Volunteer Criteria (preferred):

  • CSX-P Certification


Volunteer Benefits: 

  • Earn 1 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term.
