Description:

The ISACA Journal is an electronic and print publication distributed to all ISACA Members six times per year and one of our highest rated member benefits providing timely content related to ISACA’s professional community. Industry News offers short-form thought leadership in the areas of audit, cybersecurity, emerging technology, governance, privacy and risk.

All ISACA Journal feature articles and Industry News articles are peer reviewed.

The ISACA Article Review Team is responsible for ensuring that all submissions adhere to ISACA’s high standards and provide members with high-quality practical content and/or thought leadership.

Reviewers will have 1-2 weeks to provide feedback on how authors could improve their article to better provide value to Journal and Industry News readers.

The review team is not responsible for editing style and grammar; rather, reviews should focus on the content: if it is accurate, and if it provides value to readers (i.e., by adding something new to existing discourse on a given subject).

All reviews are double blind, i.e., reviewers do not know whose article they are reviewing, and authors do not know who reviewed their article.

Volunteer Criteria:

  • Must commit to providing detailed, thoughtful responses and helpful insights for authors per the evaluation form provided
  • Reviewers who do not provide consistent detailed feedback (e.g.by only checking boxes on the evaluation form without explanation) will be removed from the role.
