Description:

The Practice Analysis Task Force is responsible for developing a new CSX-P job practice to ensure the content tested remains relevant to a junior security analyst.

Anticipated outcomes:

The task force will work with PSI for the CSX-P program:

  • Attend a two-day virtual meeting to review and refine draft survey and rating scale, as necessary.
  • Pilot test survey; modify survey as necessary.
  • Review results and develop test specifications (with PSI) over a web-based meeting (up to eight hours).
  • It is expected the job analysis will be completed by September 2022.

 Volunteer Criteria:

  • Strong subject matter expertise in one or more of the following cybersecurity focus areas:
    • Security Operations Center (SOC) operations
    • Vulnerability management (identification, assessment, mitigation)
    • Security monitoring tools and technologies
    • Analysis
    • Threat detection
    • Incident response and reporting
    • Business continuity /Disaster Recovery
  • Fluency in English required for productive group discussion.

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 20 CPE credits (max 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups to be posted upon successful completion of the term.
