Description:

One In Tech is launching a new scholarship program and relies on volunteers to review all applications and score them based on established metrics. The application review is scheduled for 9-22 May 2022.

Anticipated outcomes:

  • All judges must maintain confidentiality of the applicant information and documentation provided. Judges should approach all application review with a fair and unbiased perspective.
  • Should a concern about a potential conflict of interest arise, a judge may recuse him/herself from scoring a specific application.
  • Judges are expected to score all assigned applications by the 22 May 2022 deadline.
  • Provide feedback to One In Tech staff on experience navigating the judging process to inform future enhancements to this new system.

Volunteer Criteria: (invitation only)

  • Member of the One In Tech Board, NextGen Advisory Group, select NCL program administrators or other OIT-identified invitees. 
  • Ability to maintain fair and impartial approach to scoring.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of applicant and application content.
  • Reliable internet connection to complete application review and scoring via web browser.
  • Must have ISACA log in credentials (ISACA Membership is not required).

Volunteer benefits:

  • Up to 15 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Working on ISACA Boards/Committees/Working Groups upon successful completion of all assigned applications by the deadline.
