Description:

Volunteer subject matter experts are reviewing the COBIT® for Small/Medium Enterprise Focus Area prior to production. Only completed reviews will enable volunteers to claim up to 15 CPE hours in the category of Contributions to the Profession (maximum 20 CPE annually.)

TIMELINE:
Reviews are due 31 December 2018.

ACTIONS:
  • Familiarize yourself with the following newly published COBIT® 2019 Framework documents in order to effectively review the COBIT For DevOps Focus Area.  Each document is currently available to members and non-members for free pdf download:
    1. COBIT 2019 Framework: Introduction and Methodology – an introduction to the key concepts of COBIT® 2019.
    2. COBIT 2019 Framework: Governance and Management Objectives - comprehensively describes the 40 core governance and management objectives, the processes contained therein, and other related components.

The Focus Area review is not an occasion to provide feedback on the core COBIT structure and concepts, but rather to ensure the focus area subject content is of the best possible quality and relevance within the COBIT structure.

  • Complete and return the Comment Grid for SME Review excel spreadsheet. Feedback should focus on whether the documents are accurate, complete, clear, and precise. Editorial review, the COBIT Steering Committee, and the COBIT Development Team will ensure that grammar and punctuation is correct and will be responsible for reviewing and combining all feedback into a final product.

All volunteers must have an ISACA Participation Agreement on file. To see if your volunteer participation agreement is active, visit your volunteer profile. Access all volunteer policies here.
