2023 Algorithm Audit Program Reviewers

This group of volunteers will participate in the review of an algorithm audit program. The group’s deliverable will consist of feedback on the technical accuracy of the audit program’s content as well as assessment of whether the audit program’s controls and test steps are aligned with current best practices. 

Anticipated Outcomes:

The volunteers will support the delivery of the Algorithm Audit Program by reviewing a draft audit program for:

• Technical accuracy; and
• Alignment with current best practices

It is expected that the draft document will be available for review by October 18, 2023. The timeline may be modified, however, depending on ISACA’s production schedule.

Volunteer Criteria (required):

• Current knowledge of best practices and controls related to auditing algorithms
• Practical experience planning and conducting IT audits
• CISA certification

Volunteer Criteria (preferred):

• Certification(s) in security (e.g., CSX-P, CISSP, CEH, GSEC, other)
• Geographic area representation preferred

Volunteer Benefits:

• Up to 5 CPE credits (max. 20 annually) in the area of Contributions to the Profession upon successful completion of the term
