This session provides a grounded and practice-oriented perspective on how Agentic AI can already be applied within GRC and audit functions today.

Dwayne Valkenburg, founder of AuditAgent.ai, will explain how organisations can design and deploy their own AI models on physical, on-premise infrastructure, addressing key concerns such as data sovereignty, confidentiality and regulatory compliance. The session will explore architectural choices, governance considerations and realistic implementation boundaries.

The session will also demonstrate how AI can already support and perform control testing activities, including the analysis and validation of control evidence. In addition, it will outline how entire tasks within the IT-GRC domain may be performed by Agentic AI solutions in the future, and how this development may fundamentally change the role of GRC and audit professionals.

The presentation aims to provide participants with a clear understanding of which tasks and processes are likely to be automated, which will remain dependent on professional judgement, and how organisations can prepare for this transition in a controlled and responsible manner.
