ISACA's Philosophy on Volunteer Engagement

ISACA encourages the active participation of our dedicated professional community in relevant, compelling and innovative activities at both the regional and international levels. With appreciation for the talent, expertise and experience each person contributes, volunteers and staff work collaboratively to fulfill ISACA's purpose and promise, while benefiting from incredible experiences and accomplishments that instill confidence in our professional and personal growth.

Chapter Volunteering

Volunteer opportunities serve not only the global community, they can also help in your local area. ISACA chapters sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, engage in IT research projects, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, risk, privacy and security professional. Volunteering with your local chapter is a great way to become an active member of ISACA.

Opportunities can range from one-time tasks to committee involvement or chapter board leadership roles. Volunteer roles differ among chapters, so the first step is to contact your chapter and ask how you can get involved!

ISACA Global Volunteering

ISACA always seeks new reviewers, social media advocates, Engage online forum moderators, conference ambassadors, and subject matter experts to help foster growth in the profession. If you are looking for a more collaborative, strategic project, consider applying for a global working group. Working groups and task forces vary by subject area and time commitment, and applications are added regularly, so check back often to find something that interests you!
