
A new partnership between the Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) and ISACA London Chapter aims to boost skills in cybersecurity by providing access to industry insights, education and training, through online and in-person events for cybersecurity professionals and associated industries.
Eligible ISACA London Chapter members can now earn extra CPE points by attending SASIG webinars and in-person events. ISACA London Chapter members can log their ISACA membership details when registering with SASIG and record attendance via the ISACA CPE portal to record CPE points.
SASIG and ISACA London Chapter will also work together on key webinars and events for members looking to further enhance their existing professional education and development, as well as providing support to reskill into a new career sector, showcasing cybersecurity as an attractive option.
The partnership between SASIG and ISACA London will address three key areas:
• Addressing the cybersecurity skills gap: SASIG and ISACA London will jointly work on content on how their respective memberships can develop their careers. Part of this will be SASIG's Cybersecurity Skills Festival, which boosts awareness and understanding of cybersecurity careers and attracts the next generation of cyber professionals.
• Inclusion and Diversity topics: SASIG and ISACA London will look to expand SASIG's successful series of sessions on gender identity earlier this year. Collaborating on ISACA London’s ‘She Leads Tech’ initiative, as well as broadening conversations into other aspects of diversity, equity, and inclusion, including disability, race, and sexual orientation.
• E-Forensics: ISACA London has a concentration of members working in this area. SASIG is delighted to be collaborating on this topic, contributing through their excellent panel of thought leaders in this area.
