Event Title: Revolutionising Cyber Insurance: Aligning Threats, Risks & Resilience

Synopsis

As the cyber threat landscape evolves in complexity and scale, the insurance industry must move beyond static models and reactive approaches. This event brings together practitioners at the intersection of cybersecurity and insurance to explore how threat intelligence, dynamic risk quantification, and systemic awareness are reshaping assessment, underwriting and reinsurance strategies.

Through four focused sessions, we’ll examine the strategic role of brokers, the need for contextualised, threat-informed underwriting, the urgent challenge of systemic and concentration risk, and the pressures emerging from geopolitical tensions and disruptive technologies. This event is designed to spark new thinking and practical collaboration toward a more resilient, intelligence-driven cyber insurance future.

Key Takeaways:

  1. CISOs and cyber practitioners will gain a clearer understanding of how to partner with brokers and underwriters to align coverage with actual threat exposure, making insurance a more integrated part of risk management strategy. Practitioners will learn how dynamic, threat-informed models can better reflect real-time risk, enabling more meaningful dialogue with insurers and improved coverage decisions.

  1. As cyber moves into the domain of systemic and potentially catastrophic risk, practitioners will gain insight into how reinsurers are re-evaluating aggregation models, geopolitical exposure, and the reliability of existing risk frameworks. This evolving reinsurance perspective is critical to understanding the broader market capacity, pricing trends, and coverage availability that impact primary cyber insurance.
