Synopsis:
An introduction to neuroscience-based coaching with a focus on managing stress and preserving well-being in fast-paced working environments and/or environments subject to rapid change
The approach is based on managing the physiological response of the brain to actual and perceived threats in our professional and personal lives to improve brain function and health outcomes
The construct assumes that we cannot necessarily change or stop the triggers in our environment that trigger our “fight or flight” response. The fight or flight response triggers a release of adrenaline, followed by cortisol. Excess adrenaline and cortisol impact brain effectiveness and longer-term health outcomes.
The focus of the 3 simple techniques that we will share in the webinar are to equip individuals to better manage the fight or flight response and bring the brain back to homeostasis [balance] where it functions most effectively and limit the production of cortisol. Each technique can be practiced in 10 minutes or less
