This Call to Action is for all members of ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter who wish to serve on the Chapter Board of Directors!
The next term for Director positions is July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026 and Officer positions is July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. The Nominating Committee is requesting Chapter members interested in providing leadership and support to their fellow professionals to consider this challenging yet rewarding opportunity. Since 1975, our Chapter has provided significant educational, networking, mentoring, and information-sharing services to its members in the IT Audit, Security, Risk, and Assurance professions. To accomplish this, the chapter is dependent on the energy, guidance, direction, and expertise of its Board of Directors and many volunteers.

For information on the qualifications, terms, and responsibilities of Officers and Directors serving on the Chapter Board of Directors, please refer to Article VI. “Chapter Board” and Article V. “Chapter Officers” of the Chapter Bylaws posted on our website. These are summarized below. Note that references to ‘years’ duration mean years up to February 15, 2025:
- All candidates must be current Chapter members and have attended at least 2 chapter events in the last year or have served on the board / committee of an ISACA Chapter.
- Candidates for Chapter Board Director roles must have been members for at least 1 year.
- Candidates for Officer roles of President, Vice President and Treasurer require prior Chapter Board experience of 2 years and have been Chapter members for 3 years.
- Candidates for Recording and Corresponding Secretaries should have been Chapter members of at least 1 year.
- Candidates can only apply for one role.
During the election, please be on the lookout for emails from eBallot, the online voting solution from our partner Votenet. You will receive two separate emails; one with the voting instructions and login identifier and then a separate email with a randomly generated password. As well as voting for Directors, our Members will be voting on bylaw updates.
