ISACA Vancouver, together with OWASP, ISC2 and Business in Vancouver, annually presents BC Cyber Excellence Awards. This is to recognize the outstanding individuals among us, those who have shown exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment in the cybersecurity realm 🏆
Award Categories & Criteria:
- Cybersecurity Enterprise Leadership Award (formerly BC CISO Award): Recognizing CISOs, Directors of Information Security, vCISOs, or equivalents in organizations with more than 1,000 employees leading their cybersecurity initiatives.
- Cybersecurity SMB Leadership Award: Celebrating leaders like Managers of Cybersecurity and vCISOs in organizations with fewer than 1,000 employees for their leading roles in cybersecurity initiatives.
- Cybersecurity Enterprise Practitioner Award: Recognizing exceptional cybersecurity practitioners in non-management roles who play a vital part in advancing the organizations security initiatives.
- Cybersecurity Community Leadership Award: Acknowledging individuals who are cybersecurity ambassadors, leading large-scale community initiatives and advocating for cybersecurity professionals in BC.
