ISACA Ireland will hold its Annual Conference on the 11th April 2025 at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. The conference will provide information systems professionals with a pragmatic approach to and guidance on industry relevant concepts, tools, and best practices. This year’s theme is about trying to predict the future as far out as we are brave to go. Even five years may be a stretch. Ten years certainly would be a gallant act.
In October 2020 the Chapters Risk Management- Special Interest Group presented to the Chapter yearly Conference their predictions for the future in terms of Technology, People and Processes. This set out what the next, 1, 3, 5 and 10 years could hold. So, what could the next five to ten years look like and what decisions have to be made now to get you lined up with that future. What education, skills, and knowledge will be relevant in 2030 or even 2035? What would our valued assets look like then and how do we intend to use these assets wisely and protect them.
We are asking our conference speakers to explore the future in a pragmatic way. The technology landscape is continually adapting and rapidly changing bringing new and varied challenges to Cyber, Risk and Audit professionals. Will future approaches to risk rely on what has worked in the past.? We currently talk of disruptive and emerging technologies? These can only emerge and disrupt – that is their raison d'etre.
ISACA Ireland welcomes submissions from that brave band of futurologists.
