Information Security and Risk Consultant at Goucher Consulting

Wendy Goucher is an information or cyber security consultant -depending which you are looking for.  Her focus is operational so trying to keep data as safe as possible while still allowing people to do their job. For that reason she’s done a lot of work in the area of risk recently and hopes one day to understand all the factors that are in play, but feels that to believe she does would risk arrogant deception.  Wendy has also written some books, including one on incident response, and in the next year she will be publishing anything up to 5 books for small children and their parents on cyber security.  She’s excited and passionate about that prospect so be warned.

Topic: A Positive Reflection on the Security Challenges of the COVID Era.
This presentation would look at what we have learnt about security awareness, operation and communication during the COVID Era.

Kaya Kazmirci specializes in Fintech Governance & Cybersecurity Services and offers related trainings including: CISA, Cobit 2019, CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, CDPSE and CISM. He is presently teaching IT Governance at Bosphorous University and was previously the Internal Audit Director in Istanbul Turkey for Avea (Mobile Telco operator). Kaya has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences Modified with Computer Science and Electronics from Dartmouth College and is an accredited CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, Cobit and CISSP trainer.
Kaya has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology and Business. Kaya is one of the ISACA Istanbul Chapter founders and a past Chapter President. He has extensive experience in restructuring the IT function, and implementation of audit methodologies in large banks and telecommunication operators. Kaya’s experiences include extensive reviews of financial management systems including: banking, billing and charging, accounting and ERP (SAP & Oracle) systems, and IT organizations. Kaya also has experience in providing technical, operational, organizational, security and theoretical advice to Internet and e-Commerce focused organizations. Kaya is well versed in generally accepted IT standards such as MS SSPA, Cobit, Prince2, ITIL, the International Standard 27001 for Information Security Management, TOGAF and NIST Standards.

Robbert leads the Responsible Cloud practice in Deloitte Netherlands helping clients to responsibly consume public cloud services and is a Guest Lecturer on Cloud at the Vrije University of Amsterdam. He is active in Financial Services Industry as well as Startup and Scale up industry and is focusing on new cloud related technologies including how to address the associated risks.

Ed Casmer - 2:00pm

Founder and CTO, Cloud Storage Security

Ed is a 20 year technology veteran with deep experience in cloud security across the major Cloud Platform Providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.  Previously, as Cloud CTO for Symantec, he led the team responsible for building solution offerings consumable in the cloud model.  Ed guided Symantec into the cloud security space, managing the relationships between Symantec and the Cloud Platform Providers from both technical integration and go-to-market standpoint.  He has shared his expertise in cloud security at numerous events, conferences, and webcasts.

She works to support and encourage more schoolgirls to help them choose cybersecurity as a career. She is also a Co-Founder of Cyber Women Ireland and it has since become the official professional organisation for women in the cybersecurity industry in Ireland. She helps businesses design viable security architecture and strategic solutions that protect them from the unending cyber threats. She's an Information Security Manager at JP Morgan Chase & Co. She has appeared as a speaker at Slándáil: National Security Summit Ireland. She's also been a subject matter expert on RTE1 National Radio, and on East Coast FM.
