Wasserman Award Nomination

ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter is currently seeking nominations for the 2025 Joseph J. Wasserman Award. The award is presented at our Annual Gala/Wasserman Award Dinner held in June.

Bestowed annually since 1978, this award recognizes outstanding achievement and significant contributions to the Information Systems Audit, Control, Security, Risk Management, and Governance professions (the “Community”).

Nominees should have made meaningful contributions and remain actively involved in the Community. Essential characteristics include:

• Integrity, humility, and a non-self-promoting nature
• Selfless dedication to enriching the Community
• A focus on serving the best interests of ISACA membership

Examples of outstanding contributions include:

• Proven civic service leadership in the Community
• Active participation on ISACA or other technology association boards and committees
• Advancing theory and practice in audit, control, information security, risk management, and governance
• Contributing innovative research on topics vital to the Community

Nominations will be carefully evaluated by the Wasserman Award Committee, which will make a final recommendation to the ISACA Board of Directors.

All Chapter members are invited to nominate candidates for this award. Please include a short biography of the nominee along with specific examples of their achievements, contributions, and the essential characteristics outlined above.
