Overview
The Academic Relations Committee is dedicated to building strong relationships between ISACA and the local academic community, cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity and audit leaders.
We lead the planning and delivery of:
- Partnerships with leading academic institutions including NYU Tandon, Columbia, and Pace University, supporting six active student groups on campus.
- The annual Student Cybersecurity Case Study Competition, engaging 160+ students across 30+ teams in solving real-world industry challenges.
- Mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that connect students with industry professionals.
- Curriculum guidance to help ensure that current trends and topics in cybersecurity, audit, and technology are reflected in academic programs.
Our mission is to foster strong academic partnerships, support student development, and strengthen the profession by equipping the next generation of professionals with the knowledge and skills they need in today's dynamic digital environment.
