Sexual Harassment Policy

Rev 2019.1

Approved 05/07/2019

ISACA Of Madison Chapter is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to ender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Guest speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.

All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds.

If a participant engages in behavior that violates this policy, the Chapter Board may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event or loss of Chapter membership.
