ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter Partner with Cyber Intelligence 4U to Provide CPE Credits in Cybersecurity Education

New York, New York — Cyber Intelligence 4U (CIU), a workforce cybersecurity accelerator and university partner and ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter (“ISACA NYM”) have formed a strategic partnership focused on providing additional cybersecurity content to ISACA NYM members and non-members to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and provide Continuing Profession Education (CPEs) credit hours students can take back to their organizations.

Through this partnership, CIU and ISACA NYM Chapter will offer their members additional discounts, educational offerings, and events, and the organizations will collaborate on future content, research and thought leadership initiatives.

New York City Cyber Command & NYU Cyber Fellows

Fight Hackers in Exercises to Prepare for Post-COVID Threats

The NYU Tandon School of Engineering will host the second annual simulated cyber defense exercise held jointly with New York City Cyber Command (NYC3), the agency that leads the city’s cyber defense efforts. Called Cyber STRIKE 2020 (Simulated Threat Response and Incident Knowledge Exercise), the event leverages the city’s first-of-its-kind cyber range to simulate an environment where defenders—the NYU Cyber Fellows—must detect and mitigate a range of threats, including those from a post-COVID world where remote work opens backdoors into corporate, government, nonprofit, and educational institutions’ high-value networks.
